Magic in its purest form. I love Floating Points, I love Pharoah Sanders, I love The London Symphony Orchestra. It's a match made in heaven, and the result is absolutely gorgeous. I have loved this record since its release, and realized I don't own it for some reason. So its time to change that. 9.5/10 honestly could become a 10/10 on an indepth vinyl relisten. angrypizza98
Post-jazz, indie rock, modern classical, and hip-hop come together on the Oakland multi-instrumentalist's new, desert-inspired LP. Bandcamp New & Notable Sep 22, 2022
How to write about some of the most sophisticated, ground-breaking NeoSoul NuJazz that I've heard in 20 years? I can't wax rhapsodic enough about this album, this music, these songs. The band have definitely matured and polished their own identities as this album feels for the first time as I'm hearing GADADU's own music, not just derivations or homages to past masters. A top 5 album for 2022 for me and one that is quickly rising into the echelons of my all-time top albums! wafiii
